Dick - Donor Father
Just days after the birth of her third child, Dick's daughter, Lisa, died unexpectedly. She left a husband, three young children, two siblings and two parents' heart broken. On what was arguably the saddest day of his life, Lisa's husband donated his wife's organs and tissues to help others. Dick and his wife are proud of his unselfish decision because several people received life saving transplants and life enhancing tissues.

Since Lisa's death, Dick and his wife continue to spend time with their three young grandchildren. Dick has been a faithful volunteer at Life Connection of Ohio and speaks regularly, from a donor father's perspective, on the importance of organ and tissue donation. He has found comfort in knowing others are alive today because of Lisa.
