Life Connection of Ohio staff members are available for educational presentations
in schools, church or civic groups, medical facilities and businesses. We
will provide you with factual information regarding organ and tissue donation.
- Teachers and principals can request an education specialist to visit
your K-12 grade classes. All presentations contain age-appropriate information
and encourage family discussions. Life-like models of organs as well
as actual tissue grafts are available for learning purposes, upon request.
- College presentations are specifically tailored to the class subject and educational
level of the group. Often times, a transplant recipient, donor family
member or organ procurement coordinator may be part of the presentation.
- Churches and other faith-based communities provide an ideal audience for our
speakers. Since every major religion supports organ and tissue donation,
why not invite a Life Connection speaker to enhance your worship service.
- Civic organizations often need guest speakers for their group meetings. Invite
a Life Connection speaker to a future meeting to educate your group
about giving the gift of life.
- Clinical updates will be provided to health care professionals throughout
our 50- hospital service area. Organ Procurement Coordinators want to
inform hospital staff of current events in the field of organ and tissue
donation and transplantation.
